X3-TC gives off a rather rushed appeal, like it was rushed. Only reason why you should get this is due to the story and we all want the story to end at some point, but I truly believe this is where Egosoft got it wrong. If you got the patience for it, and the motive to keep at it then your going to enjoy Terran. The game itself is rather much the same when it comes to complexity, and thats not a bad thing.
It comes to no suprise that alot of the team that worked on Xtended was brought over by Egosoft to work on Terran Conflict. For those of us, well some of us, who have played X3:Reunion with the Xtended Mod, the only main difference your ever going to notice in Terran Conflict is the story. The game itself is rather much the same when it comes to complexity, Don't believe the hype. This is rounded off by a standalone version of X3: Albion Prelude available from the MAC App store soon for USD 19.99.Don't believe the hype. Also, for players new to the X Series, X3: Terran Conflict and X3: Albion Prelude will be available as a package for USD 19.99. Owners of X3: Terran Conflict aren't left out either as they will be available at an add-on price of just USD 9.99. There is also a free Download for Owners of the X: Superbox and if you buy the X: Superbox, or already own it, X3: Albion Prelude will be available as a free download via Steam. X3: Albion Prelude will be released on December 15th on Steam for direct download in English, German, and French languages (voice) and Italian (text only).
X3: Albion Prelude includes a host of new features including a new plot that throws you into this power struggle between corporations, more than 30 new ships and stations, new Stock Exchange feature and advanced investment strategies, improved graphics quality setting for high-end machines, improved UI introducing charts to visualize economic developments, and support for head tracking. They are being built as you participate in the power struggles that feed their construction. However, these highways – which are a key feature of X Rebirth – are not fully ready.
